Linda did such a good job telling about the pool day in the South Bay Champions News Letter..... I'm plagiarizing a lot of it!

There were several new faces at the pool party this year. The "aqua-pups" were Kauai's pup, Cragun and Faith's pup Jagger. The pool party was really for the working dogs but Cragun was there for his mom, who was due to deliver pups any day and Jagger well..... he has an "in" with Faith.... since she is his mom. There were no Breeders this year because they were either in heat, pregnant or had puppies. Service Teams were Phil curry & Martha, Rae Ellen Leonard and Neal, Pauline Horvath-Anderson & Butler, Melissa Lucia & Winger, Ray Siaweleski & Teresa and Sandy Cohen & Wayne; Skilled companion Teams were Mason Goodloe & Africa, Aimee Silveira & Inverness and Andre Foster-Molina & Bostwick; Facility Team Kim Kamitses & Giann and Cash who still tried to herd the dogs in the pool.

Not all dogs jump right in, some need to take time at this pool thing.

Two dogs proved that all dogs don't automatically know how to swim. Jagger fell in and sank like a lead weight. Giann paddled only with her front paws, consequently, his rear end sank followed closely by his front end. Gianne, Teresa and Martha played with the rubber raft and even learned to jump from the edge of the pool on to the raft and keep their balance.

Kristi and I were fostering a Great Pyrenees who came to the poolside for awhile, she certainly stood out in this group of goldens and labs

Nessy, Aimee and family came all the way from Napa.

Jagger shows some real talent with another way to jump into the pool and retrieve.

Faith submits to a ride on the raft.

OK... I know we're Mother and Son but do we have to be this close?
