I  Litter born 4/3/96
Some people wait a life time for a miracle.
We raise them one at a time.

First came Issel's  "I" litter. The dad was Lexus whose caretakers are Julia and Rob Jones. Here's some pictures of the "I"'s first 8 weeks and where they are now,  you might be surprised or even impressed.         "I" Litter Fact Chart

Issel in the whelping area.  We whelp in a kiddy pool and this is where the pups live the first four weeks.

This was our first litter, so we were prepared and waited with anticipation.

OK so we even had a rocking chair!  We were prepared for anything!

Issel day One 4/3/96 (right)

Each pup is assigned a color for tracking purposes.  The first pup is always Red and second pup is always Blue etc.  Before they can wear collars fabric paint is applied to their coat.

Issel was a wonderful Mom, it wasn't always easy.

We took the "I"'s to Mandy's house for a visit (right).  

Mandy later became  a co-puppy raiser  with Debby Knott for  Inverness, seen  in neon pink bandana.  

Inverness, nicknamed Nessy, would later graduate.
