You're on your own at Cache Canyon.... there is no guide. Two people in a small rubber raft and two Class III rapids to make it down. Beautiful scenery while floating through isolated canyons, inaccessible by any other means. Temperatures over 100 and ice cold water, it's a great combination.
Joyce and Leah - Cache Canyon - Class IIIAfter finishing a rapids called "Mother" Leah and I pulled to shore to watch the people behind us come down. Not only were their boats coming down the rapids.... but on there own.... coolers, hats, beer, oars, empty boats, fried chicken.... you name it - it came floating by. The best was a raft with a lady in the front paddling like crazy while calling out commands to her partner in the rear.... who had apparently fallen out some time back because he was no where to be seen. At the very end of the trip they have a net across the river to make sure they retrieve all their oars but they must catch some amazing other things.
