Tiki II's Puppy Raiser was Buddy & Barbara Annapolis, MD North East Region

Tiki will be sharing a home with Abby a 12 yr old German Wirehaired Pointer (AKC Champion, CD and Junior Hunter), Cash a 3 yr old red Doberman (CD, CGC, WAC) who is Barbara's competition obedience dog and does agility and schutzhund, a horse and a mule to mention a few. Buddy will be the official Puppy Raiser, he lost his 16 yr old black lab/golden mix named Spirit a few years ago so he is looking forward to the new relationship. The Novak's are first time CCI Puppy Raisers but have been training dogs for 20 years. Tiki will be attending puppy class at Oriole Dog Training in Baltimore where Barbara teaches open level obedience. Buddy and Barbara reported that Tiki hit the ground running and was already standing her ground with the 90 lb Dobie and even the 990 lb horse. She rode along on the trip to take a horse to the University of Pennsylvania Vet Clinic so it sounds like she is already settled in. We look forward to many updates and pictures in the future |

Tiki matriculated to Advanced Training May '02 Tiki II graduated November 16, 2002 as a Service Dog to a gentleman named John D. from Trenton, New Jersey. Barbara and Buddy went up for graduation and felt that John and Tiki made a great pair. John is very active and Tiki will be kept very busy. John and his wife have a Doberman so Tiki, who grew up with my Doberman, will have a friend to play with. Also, they have a boat so she will get a chance to swim. Buddy and Barbara brought a Lab cross puppy, Kim III, home with them as their second puppy and she is another Bobby daughter and keeping them busy. Tiki we are all so proud! |
