Backstrom's Page

Backstrom's Puppy Raiser was Heather Florida.  Heather, her husband  and their Basenji mix named Goofy were Backstrom's teachers.  Backstrom went to work with Heather at  Hallmark most days from the beginning.   They had a busy year, Heather and her husband both graduated from University of Central Florida, then they got married, moved and still kept up with Backstrom's training (Backstrom even went on the honeymoon!)

Ham Hammerhead meets Backstrom when he goes to see a Marlins Game.  Socialization is very important, a CCI dog needs to be able to gowhere ever his master wants to go, not cause a disturbanceand keep his mind on his job of assisting where necessary.

 We hear that Backstrom was released during  advanced training and is living with Heather permanently, which I'm sure suits him fine.
