INVERNESS

Nessy was the fifth pup born, she arrived at 7:55 am.

We recorded she was active from the start.  Active she was and she was also our only  blonde.  

Nessy was a natural at agility obstacles at seven weeks, SEVEN WEEKS... that's a very tiny puppy to be doing agility so well.  

All the dogs learned to jump and go through a tunnel before they left my house.  They were also going through the motions of sit and down with a treat..... so smart these puppies!

   I LOVE the ears and the glee in this picture.

Inverness had two Puppy Raisers; Mandy  in the beginning and Debbie who took over until turn in.

Amiee was very impressed with Nessy when she dropped the TV remote, after getting into bed.   Nessy  retreived it with the "get" command....even though she had not practiced retrieving the remote before.  They were practicing opening the refrigerator door the last time I heard... we'll have to find out how that's going.

Since Aimee and her family live in Napa we get to see them at CCI events.  They came to  Zinkle's play day where all the dogs can run loose.   I saw them come in but I hadn't made it over to greet them and then  I  looked down and Nessy was sitting calmly in front of me gazing up waiting to say Hi - I patted her head and off she ran.  It amazes me that my babies remember me when I have them only 8 weeks and at such a young age.
